I expect good service, which I do receive and I expect equipment, such as air pump machines to work properly.

Just had a really terrible experience here, both at the register as well as with the assigned local manager.

I gave a heads up that I was gonna pay in change. I had one of the free coffee on Mondays sign from the coffee machine to show the cashier this was the case.

This is where it escalated. She gave me a hard time since I had one of the signs. She grabbed it from me abruptly. She was giving me attitude insinuating that I did not have a job.

I currently work with Lyft ( rideshare ) full time for over 4 years now. This was just the current predicament I was in. Believe me, I would have used self checkout if I could have, but It was card(s) only. Heck, I even warned customers around me that I was gonna pay in change, and suggested they may wish to use the self checkouts.

Well, after the horrible treatment at the register, I went to see the manager, and guess what? She was just as rude as well. Here s the funny thing. I ordered half a grilled chicken sub, and a breakfast sandwich in a bag was sitting on the counter.

They assumed that was my order, so they made me wait even more so. Manager after minutes went by, finally looks at bagged order, and realizes it s not my order. The kitchen prepper was just sitting there, having me wait even longer assuming that breakfast sandwich ( which looked sloppy in gravy or whatever that was) was mine. They finally got my order fulfilled; however, this experience was really bad at multiple levels, which prompted me to file this complaint.

Yes, unfortunately, the manager had attitude/ignorance as well, which is not setting a proper example of corrected customer service. Their attitude was oh well, tough cookies, which did not comply fondly with this regular shopping veteran of the Giant Eagle establishment. So here I am filing a formal complaint since I was disrespected with the cashier, the manager, and the kitchen crew. All three levels here at Getgo Bridgeville.

I hope some form of discipline shall be brought to attention here since this continued behavior should not be promoted. Thank you for the time/effort looking at this matter.

Hello! I have a concern from my visit today at the Get Go on the corner of Rt.

46 & Rt. 422 in Niles, Ohio. I was out doing some shopping with my daughter and stopped in to buy a couple of Beat Box alcoholic beverages since I am on vacation this week. The young lady at the counter asked for both of our I.D.'s and I said I have one but she doesn't yet, she's too young.

She said she couldn't sell me the drinks. Company policy. Groovy. Weird, but O.K.

I have bought them before with my children with me. I took my groceries home and put them away (I live 5 blocks away) and told my husband I would be right back because I had run up to the corner. He looked at me weird and I told him what happened, and he said, "What?", but I said, "It's fine I had ice cream anyways. I'll be right back." Round 2 I guess?

I run back up to the corner (the same Get Go) wait in line only to get up to the counter and the same young lady grabs the drinks off the counter and loudly exclaims, "No! I still can't sell these to you! Company policy!" as she grabs them and storms them towards the shelf they were on. I had taken my daughter home and dropped off my groceries, I said nicely.

She said, "I don't know if you're going to give them to her I WILL LOSE MY JOB!" As if I were being combative towards her? So I asked her if she needs to look in my car? I am unaware of the policy, nor has any other Get Go or Giant Eagle cashier asked this of me or treated me so disrespectfully recently or ever. She is maybe 5'4" or 5'5", heavy, brown long-ish hair in a ponytail, kind of plain.

This concerns me because I am 46 years old, and have been in customer service and upper management for more years than I care to remember. Please, I implore you, train or retrain your clerks on how to properly, and professionally, communicate your company policies to your guests. My husband looked up the policy with me because we were both so confused. Especially after my solo return visit.

She was accusatory and disrespectful. Maybe she or someone else recently got in trouble for this and so it's scary for them right now. I don't know the details. I know I have been a customer for many years and hesitate to revisit this location.

You will not go bankrupt because of me and I understand that. Threatening to no longer return is also not my purpose. I enjoy using Get Go and Giant Eagle.

They are both cost effective places to keep my family running. My purpose is that clear and polite communication be used in place of whatever this young lady thought she was doing.

After talking to a customer service I found out that there was a glitch in your system that charge me more than I should have. But the customer service lady said that I will get reimbursed for the charges in 3 to 5 business days will come at all. She is an expert she deserves a reward for quick service.
